Meet the Doctors

 

Jason M. Kuester, DDS

 


In June 2009, Dr. Patrick Johns and his staff welcomed Dr. Jason Kuester as an associate dentist.  On January 1, 2014, Dr. Kuester purchased the dental practice from Dr. Johns.  Dr. Johns is now retired but will be filling in as needed at the office.  Dr. Kuester grew up on the westside of Evansville in the area of St. Joseph in Vanderburgh County.  He is a graduate of Mater Dei High School in 2001, Indiana University - Bloomington in 2005, and Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2009.  Dr. Kuester was a part-time instructor while attending dental school.  He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, First District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, the Seattle Select Study Club, and the Spear Study Club.  Dr. Kuester recently was selected for the 2017-2018 Rising Star Award for the local First District Dental Society, which is part of the Indiana Dental Association.  During his leisure, Dr. Kuester is a sports ethusiast, favoring basketball and baseball, as well as playing the trombone and traveling with his wife, Jenna.

 

 

 

 

  

  Patrick P. Johns, DDS, FAGD - Recently retired but will be filling in as needed at the office.

Dr. Pat Johns has become an area leader in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry since beginning his practice of family (general) dentistry at his Darmstadt office after graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1976.

While at the dental school, he was a part-time Clinical Instructor in the dental assisting program.  At graduation, Dr. Johns was recognized and honored by the National Dental Honor Society (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) and the International College of Dentists.  He also won the senior dental student essay contest.  In 1997, Dr. Johns earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and is currently a member of the following:

*Academy of General Dentistry

*Seattle Study Club

*L.D. Pankey Alumni Association

Presently, he is a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor (IU School of Dentistry) for the 2008-2011 school years.  His support and interest of ministry work has led to his involvement as a frequent short-term missionary dentist in Honduras for many years.

Outside his professional involvement and family time, Dr. Johns is an elder at his church, and enjoys fly fishing, reading, and plans to resume woodworking.  He has also piloted small aircraft and spent many hours bird hunting with his dogs.
